All materials are provided by Joyful Muse Co, LLC with facilitation by one of our CARE coaches. Please inquire about our program and sliding scale fee structure for educational communities, non-profit, LGBTQ+ and BIPOC communities.
At Joyful Muse, we create avenues and channels to provide holistic care for children and their caretakers. - Danielle,
Coaching Client
I've always believed in and talked about the value of living more mindfully, but Lucretia has helped me start practicing what I preach. These practices see me envision a more joyful life so that I can step into it. Lucretia's coaching style is clear and loving. I truly feel like I'm on a team now that we're working together.
When she talks about co-creating a valuable life it reminds me that not only is that what I want to do, but it's what she and I are doing together, too.

Lucretia, you have given me the tools and confidence to dig deep into my personal story, beliefs, culture, values, biases and habits in order to be intentional with my children on these same issues. It comes from me. I've learned that I've been haphazard about my children's racial education. You have encouraged me to adopt actual practices and not just allow a few dozen unconnected gestures to make me feel like I'm doing something. I am going to recommend you to everyone I know. I've learned a great deal AND my husband has decided that he wants to do a couples session with you. Hallelujah!

Anti-racist parent coaching
I had read many books and articles on raising anti-racist children, but as I put those principles into action I felt inadequate. Lucretia led us through foundational understandings of anti-racism and created a supportive environment to process and reflect personally. [Their] leadership and encouragement were invaluable. The experience as a whole led me to a deeper understanding of my culture, my values, and my mission to raise anti-racist, anti-ableist, socially conscious children.

Anti-racist parent coaching
I had the pleasure to meet Lucretia at my Kumon Math and Reading Center of Richmond – Libbie on one early Saturday morning. She was our invited guest speaker for our 2nd Anniversary and Students Award Ceremony, and my expectation was for her to just show up, give a speech drill, and then leave. However, she completely changed our event atmosphere with her presentation with engaging activities among the audiences of all ages. She immediately connected with the students and parents along with our staff members with insights about parent coaching that I am still applying to this day with my own children and students. Thank you so much, Lucretia, for being you and for sharing your passion in coaching with us.
